In its own words

SickKids Charitable Giving Fund (a public charity) offers donors an opportunity to support their favourite charities through donor advised funds. Donors establish their own named fund and make irrevocable gifts to the fund while explicitly retaining the ability to advise the charity concerning distributions from the fund's income. A portion of the annual disbursement from a donor advised fund will support SickKids while the remaining can be directed to any other registered Canadian Charity.
