Charity Breakdownmakes Canadian charities’ public filings readable. Every registered charity reports to the CRA annually; those T3010 returns name the directors, band the top salaries, and account for every dollar in and out. They are public records — but published as machine-readable tables few donors will ever open.

We turn each filing into a receipt: give this charity $100, and here is how its most recent year of spending divided up. Around it we add the charity’s five-year ledger, its grants to and from other charities, and where it stands among its peers. The methodology page explains every computation.

The site is free, carries the 2020–2024 filings, and is not affiliated with the Canada Revenue Agency or any charity. Data is reproduced under the Open Government Licence — Canada.
