The Ottawa Highland Dancing Association was formed on November 13 1951 to promote the knowledge and love of Highland Dancing by supporting highland dancers in the greater Ottawa region and throughout Ontario and Canada through organized competitive events awarding of scholarships and through participation in performance events and workshops. OHDA works to create awareness and enjoyment of Scottish culture and heritage and supports individual learning and development for youth and adults.
