The Mississauga Humane Society has a mission to rescue cats and dogs which have been abandoned. The Society cares for such animals by providing veterinary care food and suitable foster homes. Animals are fostered and adopted by persons deemed responsible. The society ensures that all adoptions and surrenders of animals are properly documented. Fees are charged for these services.
