The peel district school board (pdsb) provides public education and is committed to modeling demonstrating teaching and reinforcing shared character attributes. It is one of canada's largest public school boards and serves the region of peel. Pdsb also carries on fundraising activities and issues scholarships and trust fund awards. Fundraising amounts go directly back to the schools for student use. The donations towards scholarship funds are invested to earn interest and that along with some principal is paid out annually for student awards.
