Hickey family foundation ('foundation') was incorporated under the canada not-for-profit corporations act on july 4 2019. Foundation is a registered charity under the income tax act (canada) and as such is general exempt from income taxes and is able to issue donation receipts for income tax purposes. Foundation's purpose is to allow the family to give back to the community. To this end the foundation's primary purpose will be to donate to certain qualified donees.
