In its own words

The organization operates to advance religion by endowing the incumbency of st. Mark's anglican church in port hope by maintaining a priest/pastor to conduct services and otherwise lead the congregation in worship and ministry in the congregation and wider community and where funds permit to aid in the ministries and operations of the church. In the event that st. Mark's anglican church should be closed the endowment would be transferred to another anglican church in the same geographic area.
