In its own words
Youth voices engages youth in care and some youth on income assistance in creating their own newsletter 'the voice'. Participants are referred by social workers group homes foster parents therapists and other youth. Several past participants (former youth in care) will serve as mentors. In the process the youth develop a variety of skills and competencies writing and communicaiton skills are key elements in the program.
