Yssr continues to train volunteers to respond to lost persons incidents and other public safety roles as requested by public safety agencies. Yssr also continues to participate in community events to raise awareness of the team and deliver preventative sar programs such as adventure smart and project lifesaver. In 2024 yssr had approximately 85 volunteer members that contributed over 9700 hours towards the teams programs
