In its own words
Provide tutoring in els basic literacy and numeracy to adult learners. Provide and support family literacy progamming collaboration with the acadia first nations band to translate our publication ' mikhal and the monsters' into mi'kmaq to distribure throughout the province and promote the diversity of south western nova scotia. We have secured two signed wildlife prints by donation to sell tickets on to support this initiative. We shared our proposal for digital letiracy with the yarmouth regional library as a collaboration and this was launched by them successfully.
