The foundation has been created to support canadians who have wounds or are at risk for wounds or those who manage these individuals. Focused on raising awareness about wounds and providing financial support for programs that help prevent wounds. The foundation intends to fund research and educational campaigns focused on wound care. Our desire is to help bring prevention and awareness of wounds to the forefront of care locally regionally and nationally. Dr rg sibbald has championed the proliferation of wound care as a more specialised clinical practice across canada over the past 30 years. …
