With help of 100+ volunteers we carried out a conservation and recovery program for western purple martins a designaed species-at-risk in british columbia. Activities include monitoring 15-+ marine and freshwater nest box sites inspecting nests at index sites reading leg bands on previously banded birds and maintaining and repairing nest boxes. We had limited activity this year with reduced and did not hold any major public information events due to limited resources and impacts of post-covid constraints
