The society provides training and ongoing support to recipients of companion dogs which have been placed with people with special needs and seniors. The society continues to be involved with the recipient and dog during the entire placement. In cases of financial hardship the society may provide financial assistance to the recipient for veterinary expenses. In the event the recipient can no longer keep the dog the society will find another suitable recipient or adoptive family. There are currently two (2) dogs placed with recipients.
