The purposes of the society are: to establish and operate a museum and archives maintaining and displaying historical significant artifacts and archival material of the west chilcotin area. Benefit the community by preserving property of outstanding significance and national importance as it would be open to the public in the summer months it would automatically become a tourism information outlet in the village of tatla lake.
