Ways Mental Health Support is a charitable organization based in London, Ontario, classified by the CRA under supportive health care. It appears on the charity register the way hospitals, universities, and other publicly funded bodies do — to issue tax receipts — rather than as a donation-driven charity in the usual sense. In its fiscal year ending March 31, 2021, it reported $6.7M in revenue and $9M in expenditures. Spending exceeded revenue that year — the gap came out of reserves.

Its funding that year was roughly 61% from government. Government funding is the majority of its budget. In 2021, 3 other registered charities reported granting it a combined $22K.

Compared with 685 health institutions of similar size, its share of spending on mission — charitable programs plus grants to other charities — ranked above 58% of peers. Its highest-paid positions fell in the $80,000–119,999 range (4 positions in that band). The charity reported 78 permanent full-time positions.

It reported gifts to 1 qualified donee totalling $3.6M in 2021, the largest being $3.6M to Humana Community Services.
