he Society presented two self funded events in 2024: - the first Fortissimo Victoria on the May long weekend in conjunction with the Victoria Highland Games. Apart from the local military bands the event featured the the 3d Marine Aircraft Wing Band United States Marine Corps and the University of Washington Huskies Drum Line. All the bands performed in the area on Sunday and then in the Victoria Day Parade on Monday (~30 000) and - the second the Bay Street Music Project in October a celebration of our musical heritage conceived in the style of a trade fair.
