Food hampers - veterans are eligible for a food hamper (appx $450 worth of food) once a month. Along with the food hamper we also include a $100 grocery gift card to allow the veteran to purchase fresh meats evac (emergency veterans assistance costs) - the evac program provides financial assistance to ensure veterans are able to keep the lights on. This program is meant to ease the financial burden of unexpected events (vehicle breakdowns funeral costs uncovered medical expenses job loss).
