Founded in 1930 by an amateur flautist vyso has been british columbia’spremier training orchestra for nearly a century. From the beginning ensembleplayer to the most advanced the vancouver youth symphony orchestra (vyso)has a long proud history of providing young musicians with the highestpossible standard of orchestral training. The society’s principal activities include musical instruction to student members and performance of concerts.
