The vancouver police foundation ('vpf') promotes research education public participation and community awareness of the problems of crime its prevention and the role of the police in helping to build strong vibrant communities. During the year the vpf made grants which were used to support various vancouver police department community building and public safety projects as well as programs to support those most vulnerable in vancouver.
