The society was established to foster multiculturalism inclusiveness and education through the presentation of films that showcase jewish art culture history and life in our society both past and present. The vjfcs has produced an annual film festival for the past 34 years in vancouver. Every year we bring film and filmmakers from canada and the world to highlight the inclusiveness of all peoples. The society partners with many local organizations and seeks to engage their membership and stakeholders by sourcing out filmsof particular interest to them.
