The University of the Fraser Valley is a special purpose teaching university. The University is governed by a Board of Governors the majority of which are appointed by the Province of British Columbia. The primary purpose of the University is the delivery of post secondary educational programs including undergraduate and masters degrees as well as a variety of diplomas certificates and continuing education courses.
