Trades Guild proposes to help meet labor demand by getting low income and unemployed Calgarians at-risk of homelessness 'work ready.' In order to help meet industry demand return people to work and in some cases help people enter the labor market for the first time and stop their cycle of poverty and prevent homelessness some people require life and work skills. Trades Guild proposes to provide this support by offering counselling connections to employers industry certificates and apprenticeship training.
