The charity works to reduce barriers for people who experience poverty homelessness mental health and substance use challenges violent living conditions and/or any other hurdles. The charity offers pet care options so that people do not need to make a choice between accessing supports or losing their animal companions. The charity aims to work from harm reduction trauma informed and anti-oppressive principals. By co-creating a community that ensures safe friendly and judgment-free exchanges the intentions is to honour the specific and changing needs of everyone involved.
