The west nipissing general hospital is a small rural community hospital servicing a predominantly francophone and first nation population. The facility operations include acute care complex continuing care and interim-long term care. Other services include a 24 hour emergency department outpatient services and community mental health and addiction services. Volunteers contribute hours of service through the year to support hospital services provided to the community.
