The diocese of athabasca is a partner in ministry with the anglican church of canada. Together with our member parishes in northern alberta including indigenous communities we offer christian church services - marriage funerals baptisms and other signs of our faith. We support food banks soup kitchens services to people with disabilities people experiencing homeless counselling (individual and family) and community-building. We respond to disasters in our communities and elsewhere such as floods and fires. We develop ministry and educational programs and events throughout the diocese.
