To promote interest in and knowledge of Astronomy and related sciences among the general public by: a)holding regular meetings with lectures and multimedia presentations to which the public are invited free of charge. b) holding public starnights at various local parks to expose public to night skies with and without the use of telescopes. c) giving lectures and multimedia presentations to various groups (cubs guides schools retirees) about astronomy.
