The Society managed and operated two historic performing arts theatres the Royal Theatre and the McPherson Playhouse. The Society encouraged artistic endeavors through the rental of these theatres to international national and local arts groups to bring a wide variety of performance experiences to the community. Through the delivery of professional services and support the Society facilitates the theatres' use to a wide variety of diverse companies including many local arts and educational organizations.
