The Richmond Association for Montessori raises money to fund Montessori-related materials and teacher bursaries and professional development for the three public schools with Montessori programs consisting of classes using Montessori style teaching method (Garden City Elementary James McKinney Elementary and Steves Elementary) within the Richmond School District No 38. All members of the executive for the Richmond Association for Montessori are volunteers typically parents of students within the program with meetings every one or two months and volunteer for several hours a month.
