We are a wholly volunteer organisation working three areas; education conservation and observation as they apply to wild birds. Our education programs which include field work and public lectures are aimed at both children and adults to engender an understanding of the biology of birds and their habitats. We acquire and help manage land to preserve habitats in addition to working with local groups to meet those ends. We give financial and skilled volunteer support to similar organizations which are mostly qualified donees as well as providing grants for academic research in ornaithology. …
