The charity continues its annual service/cermony for deceased ottawa firefighters. For 2024 the ceremony was held on september 6th at the firefighters monument at ottawa city hall. The intention is to honor firefighters who died during the 12-month period since the previous ceremony. The catergories are: line of duty deaths and legacy of courage deaths. Attendance at the live ceremony included family members of the deceased fire and municipal officials city employees and the general public. The event was also live streamed and broadcast on u-tube.
