To support the royal canadian sea cadet program through sponsoring a local training program that includes citizenship training first aid communication acquisition of maritime skills and physical fitness activities. The cadets assist the community with activities such as selling poppies for the local legions and veterans. The cadets meet weekly to develop their skills and have been able to participate in weekend activities to further their training with the support of funding from the navy league
