The foundation has led many fundraising activities directed at funding programs and research aimed at positively increasing awareness of issues related to mental health and young people. Disbursed funds have created: the kelty mental health resources centre at bc children's hospital and lions gate hospital in vancouver along with an informational website www.keltymentalhealth.ca; the kelty mental health on-line therapy program through ubc/vgh hospital foundation; funded mental health research and educational initiatives focused on reducing the stigma of mental health.
