Our Community Clean-up program staff and volunteers responded to concerns about litter and graffiti by organizing a total of 74 litter clean-ups and paint-out events that removed 1 941 graffiti tags and 326 bags of garbage. Our programs also removed 228 needles and reported 648 illegal dumping and hazard sites. Our Business Safety staff had 811 interactions with homeless/street people which is a 20% increase from the previous year.
