The edmonton jazz society 1973 (ejs) delivered 130+ jazz performances during fiscal 2024. I addition to the live audiences the majority of the performances are live steamed for a nominal fee. The littlebirds big band and combo band practice during the year and are preparing a third band of younger musicians the littlebirds continue to deliver concerts throughout the year. The ejs continues to have a robust volunteer contigent of 75+/-. They provide their services supporting the performances administration and general maintenance of the ejs building and equipment.
