The cobequid cultural centre of the arts is a community-based organization that brings the people of the northwest area of halifax regional municipality and surrounding communities together to support the arts. The organization focuses its efforts on raising awareness of itself and community-based cultural events. This done primarily done via community sponsored events and post secondary bursary for students accepted into fine arts program. The centre provides summer employee opportunites for student.
