St. James is part of the anglican church of canada. We held weekly worship services 52 weeks during the year. We held special seasonal services at christmas easter and thanksgiving as well as funerals. We supported faithworks through the diocese of toronto. We planned and organized a community meal (twic during the year) at newmarket's inn from the cold. As well we continued our work with our second chance clothing depot and food closet where on a weekly basis we provided free clothing food gift cards and food to those in need.
