Non-denominational an accessible to all edmontonians in need the christmas bureau of edmonton raises funds to provide a festive meal to edmonton families seniors and individuals. Approximately 45% of the clients served are children and teens under the age of 18 years. The bureau also raises funds for the christmas bureau of edmonton adopt-a-teen program which provides teens aged 13 to 17 years of age a christmas gift card. The bureau is incorporated under the societies act of alberta and is a registered charity under the income taxact and therefore is exempt from paying tax.
