In its own words
We hold performances of plays. We hold concerts both with local performers and with musicians and bands from outside the area.We conduct seminars on stagecraft for volunteer performers appearing in our plays. We hold the annual Maitland Launch Festival including a parade with period costumes and launching of a ship replica. We host exhibitions of collections of photographs from Maitland and the surrounding area. We operate the High Tides Arts & Community Centre in the former United Church and Hall heritage buildings for the Society's activities and for use by the community at large.
