The charlottetown film society provides opportunities in our community for the study appreciation and celebration of film and the moving image as culturally significant art forms. The society is operating city cinema which is an independent cinema that has operated for over 20 years. The film society also makes city cinema space available to community groups for affordable rentals for private and public screenings by community non-profit and other groups to further film appreciation.
