Free Lunch Program at King Albert PS: Each Friday throughout the school year members of The Centre make and serve homemade chicken noodle soup and cut vegetables for the staff and students at King Albert PS. We make enough for the entire school to have a bowl and have enough left over to give out to 5-7 families each week. We then do all the dishes and clean up the kitchen so it’s ready for the next group. Every week we have 5-6 volunteers give their time and energy for 3-5 hours.
