In 2024 The Cape Breton Kiwanis Festival of Music Speech and Drama operated a two-week festival program for students in music speech and drama. The Festival entrants competed in their chosen classes and their performances were adjudicated. Significant performances were awarded scholarships and prizes at concerts which were held at the conclusion of all adjudicated classes.
