The foundation was established to undertake and sponsor commission or otherwise promote legal research and study by means of grants fellowships scholarships bursaries and prizes; to publish and distribute such legal research and studies which are of interest to the general public; and to undertake constitutional and public interest test-case litigation to obtain decisions which will impact access to justice for the general public.
