In 2024 CASIM held its second biennial conference from May 23 and 24 2024 at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax Nova Scotia. We developed an exciting two-day program that featured the work of several graduate students working in the area of Islam and Muslims. The conference theme was 'Movements'. We were able to offer a travel stipend to all participating students. We produced two issues of our e-newsletter featuring 'job postings' and 'calls for submissions' relevant to our members studying Islam and Muslims.
