The calgary youth orchestra society is an ensemble of 65-95 instrumental students between the ages of 14 and 21. Members of the community-based orchestra include students of mount royal university university of calgary and junior high schools from calgary and surrounding communities. Training is provided in orchestra playing with professional coaches and conductors (local national and international).
