Bcsda holds semi-annual multi-day training camps in fall and spring for gsar dog teams in bc. Each camp provides training assessment and annual validation for approximately 32 civilian dog teams. We provide valuable assistance in local and provincial search and rescue operations in our home communities and province wide and respond to up to 90 deployments each year. Significant modification of delivery for programs necessitated in this year due to covid-19 protocol compliance however the organization still delivered its objectives.
