The foundation was established to assist the city at st. John's in the maintenance restoration conservation development and beautification of bowring park and to participate in the formulation and implementation of plans of the furtherance of these goals for the benefit of the community. Upon dissolution of the foundation and after payment of all its debts and liabilities all remaining property shall be distributed or disposed of to organizations in the province of nl.
