The camp is a place where a deaf child could enjoy a summer camp experience develop their leadership and outdoor skills and take a vacation form feeling 'different' or 'special'. Here saff and volunteers are trained in american sign language so ther eare no communication barriers. There are three camp programs offered. The junior camp is offered to children ages 5 through 12 and provides a foundation of self-respect and self-esteem to children who may never have met another deaf child before.
