In its own words

We provide financial support and act in an advisory capacity to the 2294 royal canadian army cadet corps. Our role is to recognize the achievements of the cadets and to help by purchasing supplies not provided by the army cadet league or the department of national defence. We also support and provide awards and the occasional scholarship if need arises upon completion of a successful application to members of the 18 (thunder bay) service battalion. These activities are done at an arms length basis from the service company. We also assist in recruiting cadets in the corps.
