The army museum carries on three main programs (1) public exhibition (2) enhancement and maintenance of its artifacts and documentary collections (3) volunteer program. The first and by far the largest effort consists of public exhibitions. Located a the halifax citadel national historic site in downtown halifax ns the museum offers artifact exhibits to site visitors that focus on atlantic canada's military history and the contributions of atlantic canadians.
