The role of the temiskaming hospital foundation is to raise money to support capital projects and to purchase equipment for the temiskaming hospital. Health funding from the government excludes the purchase of equipment and only pays a portion of capital projects to improve facilities. Funding for equipent and capital projects must be raised in the community. The temiskaming hospital foundation is a registered charitable organization charged with the responsibility of supporting these improvements through the generosity of its community.
